The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS Gombe state Chapter paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Agency’s office in Gombe State.
The purpose of the visit was aimed at commending the agency’s profound efforts in areas of Disaster management in Gombe state and the country at large and also to seek support of NEMA in areas of training and capacity building of NANS members who are part of Disaster management Stakeholders in order to strengthen Disaster management activities in campuses so as to reduce vulnerabilities.
They were well received by Nema Gombe operations office officials and a lecture on Disaster management was delivered.
At the end, the NANS members were introduced to Search & Rescue equipments and they were promised to be carried along in Disaster management activities.
