Following Director General’s approval for relief intervention to the affected LGA .
The direct distribution was carried out by a team of officials from NEMA Yola operations office led by Mr. Yusuf Ibbi Attah (PSARO) in collaboration with Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA)
The relief items were distributed across the 11 affected wards in the LGA.
In his remark, the Council chairman Hon. Abdulsalam Gidado expressed gratitude to the DG Nema Mustapha Habib Ahmed and the Adamawa state governor for their kind gesture.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items and requested additional support from the federal government in order to ameliorate the sufferings of affected persons.
The distribution exercise was witnessed by all the councillors across the ward, Dss, NSCDC, media, and other relevant stakeholders.
Items Distributed include food, non food items, and other assorted items.
