NEMA has distributed relief items to persons affected by windstorms in Irepodun, Isin, Oke-Ero and Ekiti Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
Preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic were adopted during the relief distribution.
Items distributed were:
Rice 665 bags (12.5kg)
Beans 665 bags (25kg)
Garri (12.5kg)
Salt 33 bags (20kg)
Vegetable oil 66 kegs (20ltrs)
Seasoning 66 cartons
Tin tomatoes 110 cartons
Mattresses 1300 pieces
Blankets 1995 pieces
Mosquito nets 1995 pieces
Others were building materials that include: Cement 600 bags
Ceiling board 600 pieces
3″ nails 75 bags
Roofing sheets 600 bundles and Zinc nails 150 packets
