The officials of NEMA Yola Operations Office, in collaboration with the State Emergency Management Agency, distributed food and non-food items to victims of flood disaster in Yola North Local Government.
The distribution took place at Bakin Kogi area in the presence of the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Nasiru Hamman Joda, along with all the councillors of the ward and community leaders.
The chairman expressed gratitude to the federal and state governments for assisting the people during this critical time, appreciating NEMA and the federal government for approving relief materials to the victims of the flood disaster in Yola North LGA, Adamawa State.
He assured that the items would reach the intended beneficiaries, and the distribution was led by Mr. Giwa Kurutsi Siman (ACSARO).
