






In its continued commitment to enhancing public safety and reducing the incidence of tanker fires and related fire accidents, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Yola Operations Office, conducted a Stakeholders Engagement and Public Awareness Campaign on tanker fires and fire accidents in Taraba State. The event aimed to strengthen collaboration, improve emergency response, and educate the public on fire prevention.
Speaking on behalf of the Head of Operations, Mr. Giwa Kurutsi Siman (PSARO)emphasized the importance of joint efforts in reducing fire-related disasters.
The campaign featured demonstrations and distribution of fire safety guidelines, reinforcing NEMA’s commitment to disaster risk reduction and public safety.
Key stakeholders in attendance included Taraba state emergency. Management Agency (TSEMA), Federal Fire Service, FRSC, Red Cross, NOA, and NUPENG and other relevant stakeholders in the state.
