The Hon. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq today visited the headquarters of NEMA in Abuja. She was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Jalal Arabi and was received by the DG NEMA Engr Mustapha Y. Maihaja.
The Minister and DG NEMA discussed about the on-going provision of palliatives to the vulnerable and poor persons in the wake of the Federal Government’s strategic response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Members of the Hon. Minister included the Director of Disaster Management in the Ministry Dr Dorothy Nwodo while the Directors of NEMA were also present in receiving the Minister.
