NEMA South South in collaboration with IOM, Nigerian Red Cross and SEMA carried out the post-impact assessment of 2022 in Rivers State. The exercise which is proposed to cover all the LGAs/communities affected by the flood commenced with the four most impacted LGAs of Ahoada West, Ahoada East, Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni and Abua/Odual. The IOM team is being led by Mr. Musa Abdullahi.
Earlier, a coordination meeting was held at the conference room of the South South Zonal office in Port Harcourt.
In attendance were NEMA, IOM, SEMA and the Nigerian Red Cross.
