The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA, North West Zonal Director, Mal. Sani Lokoja has paid a courtesy call to the Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Zonal Commander, Assistant Commander General (ACG) *Haruna Bala Zurmi* at his office in Kaduna.
The Zonal Director accompanied by the Head of Operations Office, Kaduna, Mal. Suleiman Muhammad conveyed NEMA’s Director General, Mrs. Zubaida Umar warmly regards and pointed to improve on the long existing standing relationship between NEMA and the Nigeria Civil Defense as one of its critical stakeholders in disaster management.
However, the Zonal Commander reiterated to continue strengthening it’s ties through synergy, cooperation and collaboration in achieving effective and efficient emergency response, as well as seek protection of integrity , workability and image laundry of their organization formation.
The Zonal Commander during the meeting took advantage to appoint DCC Moimebita Yohanna Nubwa as the newly Desk Officer for NEMA to maintain ties through synergy, cooperation and collaboration.
