In continuation of flood intervention activities by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Maiduguri, the Director General of the Agency Mrs Zubaida Umar flagged off distribution of relief items to the displaced persons living in Government Vocation training Institute.
The NEMA DG, while at the camp was joined by the House of Representatives member from Bama/Ngala/Kala-Balge Federal Constituency Hon Zainab Gimba who was on there to sympathize with the displaced persons affected by the flood.
The materials distributed were clothing and food items consisting of 25k bags of rice and cartons of spaghetti.
