A one-storey building under construction collapsed at Agarawu Street, off Aroloya, near Central Mosque, Idumota Bus Stop, Lagos State. The incident prompted an immediate response from the NEMA Lagos Operations Office alongside other relevant stakeholders.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the exact cause of the collapse remains unknown at this time.
Following the assessment, officials from the Lagos State Building Control Agency have taken control of the site and ordered a manual demolition of the remaining structure.
