NEMA has called on key stakeholders in Disaster Management in Sokoto state to step up preparation to mitigate the 2025 forecasted flood and other emergencies.
The focus this year is on Strengthening Community Resilience for Flood Risk Reduction
Participants were drawn from communities in the14 flood prone Local Government Areas in Sokoto State. Local Government Council Chairmen, Social Directors, Desk Officers and traditional leaders participated in the programme.
