Female Nigerian Evacuated from Libya dies

The returnee, Miss Towabola Adebayo aged 32 years hailed from Ogun State , she was among the 5th Batch of the returnees that were evacuated back from Libya on board Medview Air that arrived Port Harcourt on Monday night

One of the Nigerian migrants stranded in Libya that the Federal Government is evacuating back home has died after two days of medical treatment in University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH).

The returnee, Miss Towabola Adebayo aged 32 years hailed from Ogun State , she was among the 5th Batch of the returnees that were evacuated back from Libya on board Medview Air that arrived Port Harcourt on Monday night. She arrived being sick and was taken immediately in a waiting NEMA Ambulance to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching were she was immediately admitted through Accident and Emergency Unit of the Hospital and treated of vomiting, general weakness of the body, abdominal pains and other associated illness.

Two days after being in the hospital, she unfortunately died in the early morning of Thursday 15th February 2018.
Contacts have been established with her parents and arrangement being made to covey her remains home. May her soul rest in peace.
