The Zonal Director, South West Zone Mr Stephen Adewale accompanied by the Head of Ekiti Operations Office Dr Kofoworola Soleye and other staff of the Ekiti Operations Office paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Olayide Adelami today 7th March 2024.
In his remarks, the Zonal Director appreciated the Director General, NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed for his visionary leadership in creating the new structure of Zonal Directorate in NEMA in order to minimize response time to Disaster in Nigeria.
He also appreciated Ondo SEMA and Office of the Deputy Governor for the robust collaboration with NEMA to tackle Disasters in Ondo State and therefore highlighted that the collaboration between NEMA and relevant Agencies needs to be sustained in order to prevent Disasters in Ondo State to the nearest minimum.
In his response, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State thanked the management of NEMA for the usual cooperation and noted that the State Government will continue to collaborate with NEMA to ensure timely response to Disasters in Ondo State.
