The Head of UNOCHA office in Nigeria Mr Trond Jensen was at NEMA Headquarters today on a working visit. He was accompanied by the UNOCHA Head of Coordination Ms Beatrice Lakot.
They were received by the Director General NEMA Mustapha Habib Ahmed. Present with the DG were the Director Relief and Rehabilitation Alh Alhassan Nuhu, Director Planning Research and Forecasting Hajiya Fatima S. Kasim and Special Assistant to the DG Mr Idris Abubakar Mohammed.
The DG and the Head of UNOCHA together with Directors present discussed issues of common interest to the two Agencies, especially, provision of supports to persons that are in distress.
