The surrounding walls at the construction site “CAVED” in on the workers. Six people were trapped under the sand and rubble.
Four (4) were brought out alive.
Two (2) were already dead before they were found and their corpses were deposited at Asokoro General Hospital morgue.
This incident took place at about 12 noon 19th April 2023. NEMA Abuja Operation office were alerted by NEMA HQ following a distress call.
