In continuation of voluntary evacuation of Nigerians returnees from Libya, the NEMA LTO along with other stakeholders received another batch of 164 returnees.
The returnees arrived Murtala International Airport Cargo today 25th June, 2024 at about1800hour aboard a Boeing charter flight Al Buraq airline with registration no 5A:DMG.
The returnees comprised 120 adult female, 4 female children, 2 female infants and 38 adult male. The returnees were offered necessary assistance by IOM with support of NEMA, NCFRMI, Nigerian Immigration Service, DSS, Port Health, Naptip and Nigerian Police.
After the necessary profiling and biometric exercise, the returnees are expected to be given skilled training as part of the reintegration assistant being offered by IOM
