On May 24, 2024, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North Central Zonal Office in Jos visited the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Plateau State Command. Led by Zonal Coordinator Mr. Eugene Nyelong, NEMA discussed disaster preparedness, particularly for road traffic crashes, and explored further collaboration opportunities. They also emphasized improving data collection and dissemination strategies. Mr. Nyelong presented the National Contingency Plan to Sector Commander Mr. Babatunde O. Farinloye. The Sector Commander, familiar with NEMA’s mandate, appreciated the visit and committed to strengthening their partnership.
