NEMA PARTICIPATES IN STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT MEETING ON 2024 RAINING SEASON “FLOOD AND FOOD SECURITY PREPAREDNESS” IN KANO STATE

NEMA Kano Territorial Office KTO participated in the above mentioned program, the gathering was organized by SEMA in collaboration with UNICEF, and the KTO presented a paper with a theme “Review of 2023 Flood Disaster and 2024 Seasonal Climate Prediction and Flood Outlook”.

The engagement was aimed at bringing stakeholders together to discuss the level of preparedness of relevant stakeholders on 2024 flood prediction in Kano State.

Participants;

NEMA, SEMA, UNICEF, NSCDC, FFS, KNARDA, NOA, Deputy Chairmen of LGAs, Ministries of Humanitarian Affairs, Local Government, Works, Lands, Water Resources, Environment, Rural Development, etc.
