The zonal coordinator and Federal Fire Service Commandant in Rivers state organised a road show to sensitize the Port Harcourt metropolis on the topic; “Fire Safety is our Collective Responsibility” and other stakeholders were involved in the Fire Safety walk including FRSC, NCDC NGos etc. It was a successful exercise where information on how to mitigate Fire incidents and flyers where distributed to the public for emergency calls, various local languages were spoken to bring the necessary information to the communities . A demonstration of how to put off naked fire was exhibited at the Rumumasi market, port Harcourt.
