Officials of NEMA, Kano Territorial Office received the Returnees at the Cargo Wing of the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
The Returnees landed at the Airport aboard Sky Mali at about 15:30hours.
The Returnees are:
Male Adult =39
Male Child =17
Female Adult=18
Female child=30
Total = 104
This set of returnees were assisted back to the country by the Nigerian Government in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
The Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Custom Service, DSS, NAPTIP, Refugee Commission and the Police are the Stakeholders that participated in exercise.
