The NEMA Uyo Operations Office, led by Mr. Utitofon Morgan (SARO II) today August 19, 2025 attended the closing ceremony of the Batch B Stream 1 corps members orientation course in Akwa Ibom State. The event took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State.
The ceremony had in attendance the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Sam Pepple, the Camp Director, Mr. Femi Festus, representatives from other agencies, namely the NSCDC, Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Army as well as other dignitaries.
The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pst. Umoh Eno, ably represented by Mr. Anthony Isonguyo, Director of Admin & Supply, Ministry of Youth Development, was the special guest of honor at the event, which featured the traditional passing out parade exercise performed by the prospective corps members.
Speaking, Mr. Anthony Isonguyo congratulated the corps members and encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to their host communities. He also warned them to avoid night travels. He concluded by officially declaring the orientation course closed.
