The NEMA/NYSC Emergency Management Vanguards (EMVs) in Sokoto State took to the State Central Market to sensitize the public on the dangers of indiscriminate waste disposal.
During the awareness campaign, corps members delivered their message in both English and Hausa, ensuring effective communication with the local population. The EMVs educated residents on the different categories of waste and demonstrated proper waste disposal methods to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.
To reinforce their message, the EMVs also performed a playlet highlighting key waste management practices. Officers from NEMA and SOO were present to provide guidance and support to the volunteers throughout the exercise.
