NEMA Lagos Territorial Office flagged off direct distributions of relief matetials to victims of flood disasters in Ikeja Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
The Constituency, which hosts the State Capital, Ikeja also has Ojodu, Berger and other communities densely populated bordering Ogun State suffering from menace of flood disasters as being close River Ogun plain
The Member, House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke in the occasion also provided additional means of livelihoods to the victims along with other vulnerable members of the Constituency.
In a ceremony filled with fanfare, the Agency distributed food, non-food and building materials to over 4,000 victims.
While the Honourable gave out assorted livelihood tools to individuals and groups of people as a means of empowering the people.
