Towards building the culture of preparedness, mitigation and community resilience on disaster management in Nigeria, the NEMA South East Zonal Office has organized a One-Day STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETING with key stakeholders in disaster management in the zone today, Friday 11 March, 2016.
The South East Zonal Coordinator of the zone, Mr. Udeinya Ejike Martins who presided over the meeting, appreciated the huge turnout of invited stakeholders.
He stated that the main reason for the meeting is to develop a workable roadmap for the relevant stakeholders in three States of Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu, which are under his jurisdiction for the remaining part of the year 2016. This he said, will involves setting goals and determine actions to achieve the goals, with a timeline as a perimeter
