The NEMA South South Zonal office conducted a comprehensive training session for nursing students at the University of Port Harcourt, focusing on Post Basic Accident and other Health Emergency Handling. The primary objective was to equip participants with the skills to identify and prevent hospital and related accidents. The training emphasized the utilization of available materials for improvised emergency care to treat and prevent injuries. The Post Basic Accident and Emergency Nursing school expressed gratitude to NEMA’s management, particularly Mr. Adebiyi Babatunde Razak, the Zonal Coordinator, for an outstanding training session. Students acknowledged the valuable insights gained from the NEMA lectures during the presentation on February 29, 2024.
