NEMA Edo Operations Office flagged-off distribution of relief items to some communities who were affected by 2023 flood/erosion in the Federal Constituency.
The Head of Operations was represented at the distribution exercise by the Head of Relief & Rehabilitation Unit. The Legislative Aide of the Hon. Member House of Representatives Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi received the NEMA team at Kwale. Princewill Ogbolu Senior Legislative Aide, thanked the Director General of NEMA on behalf of The beneficiaries for the relief materials and promised that the items would be used judiciously
The relief materials distribution to the affected persons was as a result of the Director General of NEMA Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed Habib approval for the affected communities in Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constitituency.
The exercise was jointly conducted with the communities’ representatives.
Some of the items distributed included food, non-food items, and building materials.
