National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Takes Delivery of Medicaments and Medical Consumables Donated by MAP International

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has taken delivery of assorted medicaments and medical consumables worth about half billion Naira donated by MAP International, an international Christian charity organization as medical support for persons affected by disasters in the country, Director General of the Agency Mustapha Habib Ahmed has said.

He stated this today while inspecting the medical supplies in Abuja and disclosed that the items would be deployed to medical facilities across the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) towards assisting persons affected flood and other disasters.

The NEMA DG appreciated the charity organization for the donation and acknowledged the supports and collaboration of agencies that facilitated in clearance of the item.

The DG NEMA was accompanied on the inspection by Directors of the Agency and SADG amongst others officers.
