National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA) Distributes Relief Materials to Persons Affected by Bandits Attacks Kagoro, Kaura Federal Constituency of Kaduna state.

The National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA) has distributed relief materials to persons affected by herdsmen attack at Kagoro, Kaura Federal Constituency of Kaduna state.

In his address during the Flagg off of the distribution exercise, the Director General of NEMA, Mustapha Habib Ahmed ably represented by the Zonal Coordinator, NEMA North West Zonal Office, Abbani Imam Garki, sympathized with Victims and people of Kaura Federal Constituency and Kaduna state at large over the unfortunate incident, called on the targeted beneficiaries to make best use of the items given to them. He further appeal to people to embrace peace as there will not be any meaningful development without peace in the society. He then listed the items approved to them which consist of Food, Non-food items and building materials.

In his welcome remarks, Rt.Hon. Lukas Gedion Gwani, Member, representing Kaura Federal Constituency, appreciated the Federal Government for the timely response to the plight of his constituents through NEMA and urged people of his constituency to be law abiding.

In his remarks , the Chief of Kagoro ( Oegwom Oegworok), Mr. Ufuwai Bonet appreciated the Federal Government for the kind gesture by reaching out to the people affected by attacks in Kagoro through NEMA and also commended the effort of the Member, representing Kaura Federal Constituency for reporting the plight of his constituents to the Government.

Recall that, in March, 2022 Gunmen suspected to be Herdsmen attacked Agban and Madamai communities of Kagoro, Kaura Federal Constituency of Kaduna state which resulted to killing, displacement of people and destruction of property.
