The President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, represented by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima GCON, has launched the Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts (RSPIC) at a groundbreaking ceremony of the pilot phase of the project in Tudun Biri, Kaduna State yesterday Friday 5th July, 2024.
The host Governor, Dr Uba Sani led his Deputy and members of the Kaduna State Executive Council to the event.
Dignatories present included the Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Umar Namadi as the Governors of Katsina and Kano were represented.
The Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development Arc Dangiwa was also at the occasion and representative of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Mrs Zubaida Umar, the Director General NEMA and chair of the Project Implementation Unit, delivered the welcome address.
