
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Yola Operations Office, has distributed relief materials approved by the Federal Government to victims of the recent windstorm in Mayo Belwa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The exercise was led by Mr. Abdulkadir Mahmud, Assistant Chief Planning Officer, while Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe, who initiated the intervention, personally attended and participated in the distribution.
Items provided included rice, maize, spaghetti, tomato paste, seasoning cubes, and vegetable oil.
The distribution was carried out in collaboration with the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), local authorities, and community leaders.
Senator Yaroe commended the Director General of NEMA, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, for the support and assured his constituents of continued advocacy. Beneficiaries and community leaders also expressed gratitude, noting that the assistance would provide temporary relief to families affected by the disaster.
