Director General of NEMA Engr Mustapha Y. Maihaja paid a working visit to Anambra and Delta States between Tuesday 27th Nov and Wednesday 28th Nov 2018. He was accompanied by the Director Planning Research and Forecasting Mr Vincent Owan, Deputy Director Search and Rescue Dr Onimode A. Bandele and Technical Assistant to the DG who were led by the Emergency Operations Coordinator Idris Mohammed and staff of the Agency engaged in the relief intervention in the states.
The DG NEMA and his team were led by the Secretary to the Anambra State Government Prof Solo Chukwulebulum and other officials on visit to Ogbaru where they interacted with the displaced persons and presented food basket to them.
Also, in Delta State, the DG was received by the Honorable Commissioner for Special Duties Mr Ernest Ogwezzy and other state officials as they visited the displaced persons in Ozoro, Isoko North LGA.
