NEMA Uyo Operations office in the company of the Zonal Coordinator South South Zone, Port Harcourt paid a courtesy visit to the Department of State Services (DSS) Cross River State Command to strengthen the relationship between the two agencies. The team was warmly received by the State Director, Cross River State Command, Mrs. Roselyn Izuagbe mni, fsi.Matters relating to the palliatives receipt and distribution, security, disaster response, community engagement initiatives, collaboration opportunities and partnership were discussed. The NEMA team also appreciated the DSS for maintaining security and orderliness in the state and environs.In her response, the State Director thanked the NEMA team for the visit while looking forward to future engagements and collaboration in emergency preparedness and response as well as enhancing the security of lives and properties within the state and its environs.Group photographs were taken before the departure of the NEMA team.
