In Furtherance to implementation of the Rehabilitation Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflict (RSPIC), members of the project implementation unit today conducted assessment visit to the construction site at Tudun Biri, Kaduna State. The Director Planning Research and Forecasting (Secretaty of RSPIC Steering Committee) Dr Onimode Abdullahi Bandele represented the Director General National Emergency Management Agency (Chairman Implementation Unit) Mrs Zubaida Umar in leading the PIU members to the site. The committee evaluated progress of work at the site, interacted with the workers and members of the immediate community. During the site meeting, the contractors reaffirmed their commitment to the timely completion and handover of the project.The visit accorded the committee opportunity to point out areas that need attention to achieve a project that will be acceptable to the Federal Government and the community As always, the team also used the opportunity to interact with the locals on the need for them to remain active and committed to the program.
