NEMA North West Zonal office, KADSEMA officials alongside other respective critical stakeholders embark on a monitoring and evaluation exercise to flood prone areas in Kaduna Metropolis.
The exercise which is expected to last for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) will cover flood prone communities across the Northern and Southern part of the Kaduna metropolis in order to update the draft resolution of Kaduna metropolitan flood response plan
Other stakeholders making up the monitoring and evaluation team are the Nigeria Red Cross, KEPA, KADGIS and some engaged media organization.
Recalled, NIMET and NIRSA recently has released the 2024 flood oulook in which expectedly some areas across the nation has been forecasted to be affected by flood during the anticipated raining season.
