NEMA Kano Territorial Coordinator Dr. Nuraddeen Abdullahi today 20th January 2023, led a team on a working visit to the Kano State Emergency Preparedness and Response centre on Epidemics and other Diseases outbreaks.
The visit was to inquire and assess the level of preparedness of the EOC on the recent outbreak of diphteria and lassa fever in the State and also offer the Agency’s support and explored arears of collaboration.
The Incident Commander Dr. A.I. Kauran Mata, appreciated the Agency for the timely visit and informed the team of measures being put in place to verify and contain the spread of the diseases.
