The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in collaboration with the Kogi State Emergency Management Agency (KOSEMA) carried out direct distribution of relief materials to victims of windstorm in Ogori Magongo LGA, Kogi State on 29th November, 2022.
The Director General, Alhaji Ahmed Habib Mustapha, who was represented by the Head, Abuja Operations Office , Mr. Justin Uwazuruonye commiserated with the affected people and Kogi State Government over the unfortunate disaster while extending the warm regards of the DG.
Items that were distributed were non-food items and include; bags of cement, bags of rice ,beans l, maize, roofing nails, zinc nails and roofing sheets.
Others include men’s wear, women’s wear, children’s wear, nylon mats, buckets, plates, spoons and cups.
Receiving the items, the Local Government chairman appreciated the kind Gesture of the DG and commended the Agency for providing succor to the people in their time of need.
