Safe School Initiative Meeting

In continuation of support for communities affected by insurgency in the North East, the Safe School Initiative committee met to review strategies towards the education of children that have been out of school as a result of the insecurity. The meeting was chaired by the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency Muhammad Sani Sidi had in attendance members of the committee that comprise representatives of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States government. others were representatives of the Federal Ministry of Education, Office of the National Security Adviser and partners to the programme which include the UNICEF and a number of international organisations and the UN system, continuation of supports for communities affected by insurgency in the North East.
The Safe School Initiative committee meet to review strategies towards the education of children that have been out of school as a result of the insecurity.
