Following NIMET predictions of the impending flood across the country, NEMA has begun the training of staff on the newly received water purification vehicles and upgrade of the old four trucks. The Director Search And Rescue Air Commodore Mataluwo was at the venue of the Training which took place at the Agencies whare house in Idu Abuja FCT. The trucks are also being test run at Jabi Lake in preparation for their deployment to areas identified with high risk of floods in the 2023 climate related Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation Strategies of the Agency
