NEMA Lagos Territorial Office LTO in conjunction with other stakeholders were involved in the reception of vulnerable Nigerian from Chad on Tuesday 2nd July, 2024. The return was facilitated by IOM in collaboration with the Nigerian Government.
The returnees arrived Murtala Muhammed Airport, Cargo Terminal at about 14:30 hours aboard Air Cairo with the registration no SU-BUT. The chartered flight had a total number of 150 returnees on board. They comprised 53 male, 97 female.
They were offered necessary assistance by the combined team of IOM, NEMA, NCFRMI, Nigeria Immigration Service, Department of State Service, Port Health and Nigeria Police Force
