President Muhammadu Buhari visits the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Malkohi, Yola

President Muhammadu Buhari today visited the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Malkohi, Yola. Director General of NEMA Muhammad Sani Sidi received the President at the camp that is managed by the Agency. The President was accompanied by some top functionaries and Dignitaries.[fb_embed_post href=”https://web.facebook.com/nemanigeria/posts/1058909330807442/” width=”750″/]


President Muhammadu Buhari has commended efforts made by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Adamawa state Government and other humanitarian organisations for their operative handling of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), he however assured the agency of constant federal government’s support.

The agency’s Director General, Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Sidi received the President in which the president was briefly informed on the situation at the IDPs Camp.

Responding on behalf of the IDPs , Nicholas Samuel thanked President Buhari for showing concern for their plight and making them feel at home under the supervision of NEMA and other organisations.
