NEMA, Minna Operationd Office remains committed to strengthening the capacity of NEMA/NYSC Emergency Management Vanguards, with a focus on improving Disaster Risk Reduction and Response.
It is in this spirit that NEMA, MOO organized a training session for Corps members serving in Chanchaga LGA in Niger State, with the aim of enhancing their capacity on disaster management.
This training covered key topics,
1. Introduction to Disaster Management in Nigeria taken by Mal. Shamsudeen A. Haliru.
2. Roles of EMVs in Disaster Management taken by Fatima Santuraki.
During the session also, volunteers had the opportunity to ask questions and received informative responses.
Additionally, one of the notable highlights of the meeting was the display of the Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) equipment.
The EMVs through their president thanked NEMA for the wonderful training they received that, this has significantly improved their knowledge of Disaster Management.
