In line with the proactive nature of the Agency, NEMA South East zone in collaboration with Enugu State Emergency Management Agency organised a workshop on Waste Management and Increased Flood Risk Awareness Campaigns as tools of Disaster Risk Reduction. The workshop which had in attendance participants from relevant stakeholders (MDA, NGOs, CBOs, NA, NP, FRSC, NSCDC, Media and NEMA/NYSC-Emergency Management Vanguards) was held in Toscana Hotel Independent Layout, Enugu.
The participants were expected to disseminate and expand the knowledge garnered from the workshop in their offices, places of abode and environment.
