The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), through its Gombe Operations Office, distributed relief materials yesterday to victims of the 2024 flood disasters in Gamawa and Katagum federal constituencies of Bauchi State.
The relief items, which included both food and non-food supplies, were handed directly to the beneficiaries. The distribution was carried out in the presence of legislative aides of the federal representatives for Gamawa and Katagum, community leaders, local government officials, security personnel, and members of the media.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the federal government and the Director General of NEMA for the support. The distribution process was conducted in a calm and orderly manner.
