In preparedness towards a swift response to disasters and a hitch-free Yuletide period in the FCT, NEMA Abuja Operations Office (AOO) organized a one-day training and interactive lecture for its executive volunteers participating in the annual “operations Eagleye”.
The aim was to train them on the basic use of equipments in the Incidence Response Van (IRV) and to familiarize themselves with other search and rescue equipments as well in readiness for the ember month special operation.
Volunteers were also trained on Practical Safety Tips at work place and Basic First Aid. They were also encouraged on volunteerism in humanitarian communities as well and on what to do in case of an emergency.
