A containerised truck had a break failure while ascending the Ojuelegba busstop in front of Federal Fire Service Surulere Station and had its container fall on a sixteen seater commercial bus in the process.
A commercial bus driver including Nine passengers on board died instantly while one survived.
It was alleged that the bus was picking up passengers when the truck lost control and fell over the side of the bridge.
The truck reportedly lost its balance and fell on the bus, at the bus stop in Ojuelegba.
The bus conductor was said to be calling passengers into the bus when the incident happened on Sunday 29th January 2023
Unfortunately 9 people died which involved 4 adult males, 3 adult females, a girl child and a boy child.
