The NEMA Lagos Territorial Office organized a public lecture for 2,150 NYSC Corps members undergoing orientation at the Iyana Ipaja, Lagos Camp. This lecture is a routine initiative by LTO to educate and raise awareness among the youth, encouraging them to be proactive agents of disaster risk reduction in their Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) and local communities. The subsequent step involves establishing a Community Development Service group for grassroots activities, facilitated by the mobilized Corps members following comprehensive training sessions conducted by NEMA and other key stakeholders.
