The Coordinator, NEMA Kano Territorial Office (Dr. Nura Abdullahi), on behalf of the Director General, kicked started the distribution of relief materials to the victims of rainstorm/windstorm incidences in the following local government areas of Kano state:
1. Rano LGA
2. Madobi LGA
4. Tofa LGA
5. Ugoggo LGA
The exercise was carried out at NEMA warehouse, Maganda Road, on 26th February 2024.
He sympathized with the victims of the disaster and explained that the relief items were part of the federal government gesture to alleviate their suffering.
In attendance were SEMA, Hon. Commissioner for special duties, state and local government officials from the above-mentioned LGAs.
