National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in collaboration with the Kano state Emergency Management Agency distributed relief items donated by the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to victims of the 2024 flood disaster in Kano State. The ceremony, held at the SEMA office in Kano, was officiated by the Kano State Governor’s representative, Alhaji Wada Sagagi, who emphasized the importance of the relief efforts and commended the Federal Government and NEMA for their support.

Dr. Nuraddeen Abdullahi, NEMA Kano Coordinator, thanked the UAE for its generosity and stated that the materials aim to ease the victims’ burdens. The event was attended by key officials, including the State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Hajiya Amina Sani, the Red Cross Society’s Branch Secretary, security personnel, and beneficiaries.
