In furtherance of response to assist individuals and communities affected by flood, the National Emergency Management Agency today hosted a coordination meeting to discuss reports of the monitoring and evacuation teams earlier deployed to the affected areas. Present at the meeting were representatives of various MDAs, UN system in Nigerian including the UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) teams, NGOs including Red Cross Society.
