(NEMA) hands over Federal Government assorted grains for vulnerable individuals in Edo State

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has initiated the distribution of assorted grains to vulnerable individuals in Edo State, at an event held at the SEMA warehouse in Benin City. Led by Acting Zonal Director Mr. Walson Brandon, the NEMA team handed over 14,040 bags of 50kg maize and 3,384 bags of 25kg garri to the Edo State Governor, represented by Commissioner Mr. Kingsley Uwagbale. Governor Godwin Obaseki, through his representative, thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and assured adherence to distribution guidelines across the state’s 18 Local Government Areas. The event was attended by officials from ICPC, EFCC, DSS, and the media, as well as NEMA’s Head of Operations Dahiru Yusuf and Edo SEMA Director Mrs. Obayuwana Helen.
